Join Silverstone Living and our mission to provide exceptional care for our residents and employees in Southern New Hampshire.  We have an exciting role within our Human Resources department that provides direct support to Hunt Community, The Huntington at Nashua, Silverstone Living, At Home by Hunt and is a team member with Webster at Rye Human Resources.

 

Primary office locations: Hunt Community 10 Allds Street, Nashua NH and The Huntington at Nashua 55 Kent Lane, Nashua NH

Responsibilities

This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and works alongside three HR Managers in various locations.  Success is defined in this role by displaying the following tasks:

  • Follow the New Hire Checklist, prepare and administer New Hire Paperwork and Orientation Policies, Procedures, I-9 completion and binder compliance.
  • Tracking TB's and BAAS checks per regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and updated associate files per audit requirements.
  • Create and update Human Resources bulletin boards and other posting locations as needed; utilize online messaging including e-mail and voicefriend resources.
  • Explain and assist with elements of various benefits programs to associates and participate in annual Open Enrollment.
  • Assist with associate relations events and recognition, as needed, e.g. Scholarship Awards,Birthday Cards and lists, Anniversary Cards and lists, celebration parties.
  • Prepare correspondence and memos, flyers as needed.
  • Track internal incentive programs.
  • Confidence in learing the HRIS system and assist with entering New Hire data and payroll action changes.
  • Assign,monitor and track performance appraisals 
  • Prepare and track paperwork for annual required trainings
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis, business hours
  • Stay current on government requirements and laws (poster compliance).
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, as needed,  in areas such as answering the phone,day to day needs of our employees.
  • Generate and code requisitions per accounting policy.
  • Participate/Assist in Job Fairs.
  • Approach every interaction with a customer service "can do attitude".
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Experience 

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • College graduate preferred.
    • Senior Living, Hotel, Hospital environments preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

 

  • Able to set priorities, plan, organize and strong atention to detail.
  • Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Command of the English language both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Micosoft (Word, excel etc)
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs, repetitive reaching, sitting and typing. ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for a full shift.
